line & lee hot chocolate mix

adapted from martha stewart
makes 5 3/4 cup dry mix or 98-8oz servings
recipe note: easy

3 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/4 cups cocoa - we like trader joe's or ghirardelli
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
whole milk for serving

combine all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl.  mix until combined. to make the hot chocolate, warm 1 cup of milk in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stove--until just hot (don't boil). then add in 2 tablespoons (or less) of the mix until dissolved.
