line & lee cashew milk

makes 5 1/2 cups
recipe notes: easy | made overnight | nut milk bag or cheesecloth sometimes necessary | works best with a high powered blender

1 cup cashews + water for soaking
3 1/2 cups water
2 dates, pitted & ends removed
1 to 2 dashes of cinnamon
pinch of salt

place the cashews in a bowl and cover with water, so that the nuts are covered. Let sit overnight. the next morning, drain and rinse the cashews and place in the blender with  the dates, cinnamon, and salt. blend until smooth and frothy (about a minute). keep in the fridge for 3 days. 

**you can use a nut milk bag or a cheesecloth to strain the liquid if needed.
